How This Site Works & Security

Where is my data stored?

Your password history is stored directly in your browser's localStorage. This means the data never leaves your computer. It is not sent to any server.

Is it secure?

Since your data stays on your device, it's as secure as your own computer. No one else can access your password history unless they have access to your device and browser.

How can I delete my data?

You can clear your entire password history at any time by clicking the "Clear Password History" button. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

What about the QR codes?

The QR codes are generated using a public API (qrserver.com). The generated password is sent to this service to create the QR code image. We recommend using the QR code feature only in a trusted environment.
